CTA's 2026 Multi-Day Tour #7
Schedule and Meeting Places

The tour dates are Friday February 27, 2026 to Monday March 2, 2026.

If you decide to skip a day that you are signed up for, please try to call me at 413 834 0274.

If you are running late, try to call me. Cell phones don't work at most of these places, leave a message anyway. We probably won't wait for you, so if you miss us you can drive to the start of skiing to try to catch us, or ski "backwards" to meet us. Realize that if you try to catch us and don't actually catch us, you will end up at the end-point trail head with no way to get back to your car.

The basic daily routine is to get enough cars to the end point, in the morning, and get all the skiers to the start in as few cars as possible. Then we ski, then shuttle the drivers (and possibly passengers) of the 'start' cars back to their cars. This requires everyone's cooperation. See the Logistics link for more information on how this all works.

Please review, print out and bring with you!, or SAVE to your phone the Shuttle Directions for driving from one end of these sections to the other. You can find these with each sections' description.

The CTA Interactive Trail Map is a great resource for finding the trail head parking and meeting places listed here. However it does not seem to always be up-to-date. Be sure to turn on the Trailhead Parking options on the Interactive Trail Map, and anything else you want to show up. Be sure to check each sections' description for the most up-to-date information.

A Delorme Atlas (or other, not just a state highway map) is helpful both for finding the meeting place and for doing the car shuttle.

My default plan is to ski each section from south to north. If you want to ski southbound, let me know, we might be able to work it out.

* If you have some extenuating circumstances and a pile of brownies for me, I'll consider letting some folks drive directly to the start of skiing, skipping the shuttle. Recognize that when you do this you are throwing yourself on the mercy of your compatriots to get you back to your car, without having helped out yourself (that day), so you might want to bring two piles of brownies.

When driving to trailheads, use common sense when looking for 'end of plowing', and don't always believe your GPS, and don't drive drunk. Not sure which of these issues this driver had, he/she was not with us.
